Call of Cthulhu Stories
Short, 1- to 3-session investigative stories that waste little time getting to the creepiness. You’re typically thrown straight into the mystery and left to your devices. With the right combination of intelligent play and luck, your character may survive to fight another day… perhaps even maintain enough of their sanity to avoid being sent to an asylum.
Paper Chase (1-2 players, 1-2 investigators)
Someone has stolen the favorite books of a man who mysteriously disappeared a year ago. The case was closed, but the man was never found. Has he returned or is someone else behind the burglary?
This short introductory story takes place in 1922 and is a soft glimpse into the creepiness of Call of Cthulhu.
Edge of Darkness (2-5 players, 2-5 investigators)
You are summoned the the deathbed of fellow investigator. He pleads with you to complete a task he was unable to finish: the banishment of an entity that never should have been summoned.
Takes place in 1923 and is solid Cthulhu Mythos.
